Ingredients
- 2 cup rice (preferably basmati)
- 2 cup capsicum, diced
- 2 cup onions, diced
- 8-10 baby corn, diced
- 1 cup carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 inch piece of ginger, chopped
- 5-6 garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
Instructions
- Soak rice for 20mins. Cook it in 4 cups of water.
- In water add a pinch of salt and turmeric powder to cook baby corn, but don’t over cook.
- Take a pan heat the oil add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, onion, capsicum, baby corns, carrot, green peas and fry it.
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and salt.
- Now mix it with cooked rice.
- You can have them hot with raita and papad of your choice.
